Birmingham2022 Commonwealth Games: The second phase of the GAPs program kicks off

After the first phase which took place in South Africa last month, Birmingham welcomes this new phase of the program meant for para-powerlifting which started this Saturday 22nd April 2022.
The Cameroonian delegation is made up of three athletes ATANGANA Frederic, MENGUE Giselle, and MAKOUBE MOUSSIMA Oscar who are accompanied by coach NCHIFFI Constance.
During this session, the activities will mainly focus on individual training programs, coaching sessions, and qualification programs.
This is thus an additional opportunity for the athletes to acquire more knowledge in their discipline through practical and theoretical activities and for the coaches to gain more knowledge on how to plan and execute their drills.
It is worth noting that each GAPs program is an additional window for GAPs athletes to ensure their qualification for the B2022 Commonwealth Games.
