The Ladies of the CNOSC celebrate International Women’s Day
On Monday, 28th February 2022, the women of the Cameroon National Olympic and Sports Committee held their second preparatory meeting ahead of the 37th edition of the International Women’s Day celebration. During this meeting, the ladies of the CNOSC finetuned their expose which will make an object of their celebration this year.
The 2nd March 2022, has been dedicated to the launch of the IWD celebration activities. They started beautifully with sports activities at 3 p.m. in the courtyard of the CNOSC.
For two to three hours, the CNOSC ladies, accompanied by the men, practiced a bit of fitness, fitness walking, badminton, and animation sports movements.
These activities allowed them to keep in shape before the March 8th special day for the rights of women.
On the 8th March 2022, the Ladies of the CNOSC joined the International Women’s community to commemorate the 37th edition of the International Women’s Day under the theme, “Women-Men equality today, for a sustainable development”.This theme was once more the opportunity for the Ladies to voice out their opinions and to tell how they think improving the actions in favor of an equal society, yes a discrimination-free society. One in which men and women will work in complementarity to ensure a better tomorrow for their generations to come.
